Buddy of mine was bird hunting the Colockum and his dog had a random gun shy freakout. He has been looking all day and hasn't had any luck. Figured I would post something up in case someone finds her or so people can keep an eye out.
Last seen close to the intersection of Colockum Rd/ Kingsbury Rd.
Ticked out liver GSP, pink collar with his name and number. Answers to SAGE.
I told him to leave some articles of clothing he has been wearing in a few spots and come back in the morning. Its getting cold at night so she is gonna be chilly.
If anyone finds her please shoot me a direct message on here or call the number on the collar.
Say a little prayer.
Thank you

Did he find her??

Tell him to leave a coat or something where he saw her last.
Several friends have lost hunting dogs over the years and a couple did this. Came back next day and the dog was laying on the jacket. :dunno:

Saw on Facebook she was found

Sorry I thought I deleted this post when she was found yesterday. Nobody had posted anything here so I figured I would just delete.
But yes! after 2 nights in the Colockum she was found by some good Samaritans who called my buddy. I don't have the whole story yet only that she is safe and back home. Best possible ending. When I get the whole story I can add it to this thread.
Who doesn't need to hear a lost dog story with a happy ending in times like these.
fyi, I told him to leave clothing in the areas, her crate, food, etc.

I modified the thread title to reflect that she is no longer lost

I bought a GPS tracker for my Brittany this year, just in case. I can't imagine having to go through that.

I bought one for my GWP also. Spendy, but worth every penny when or if the time comes when you may need it.
