Looking for some recommendations for a guided 2x1 elk hunt with outfitter tags for Idaho. The web is full of outfitters and my head is swimming after spending a few days talking to and looking up reviews on outfitters. Some first hand experience would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Youll probably need to act fast, I've heard from a few folks that outfitters are largely booked up or very nearly booked up for 2021. If you want recommendations youll also need to let folks know which elk zone your tag is for.

I would check in with Dave Melton, I’ve talked with him quite a bit. He moved over there from Yakima. He runs a great outfit

M2D also known as Jokers Wild, out of the Salmon area offers hunts. You stay in a ranch house, and hunt out of it on private lands which offers good success. Both bull and cow season/hunts are available, starting in August and ending in December, plus deer hunts and coyotes...antelope if you draw a coveted tag for that unit/area. It is NOT a wilderness hunt but might be what some are looking for that can't physically hunt the wilderness terrain.

Literally my favorite huntin show to watch when I come across it...endless parade of folks shooting animals in private fields with shaky camera footage. Seriously you’ll be glued to the tele for the whole 30 minutes!!!
