Lots of the big (50’+) MJM’s are outboard powered. Comparable inboard power is more expensive and takes up more room etc.

Haven't seen the full specs, so I don't know if I can fit twins on my 18'.
You know some Tuna guy is gonna put four of those on the back of boat so he can get to the Tuna faster hahaha

This is one of the worst marketing videos for a product I've ever seen. It's like an intern fresh out of business school wrote the script and had a bet with his frat buddies about how many business buzz-words he could get the top brass to say.

I think if you had an issue it would be easy enough to bring the outboards to center or as close as possible and throttle steer.

The old triple 200's can be replaced with a single which is likely more fuel efficient, almost certainly less to maintain.

I think it's gonna be a great engine, with some quirks and problems to work out for sure. Being a naturally aspirated engine and still calling it a Verado is a little odd, but the simplicity of the induction relative to the supercharged engines is a plus. Putting 600 hp in the water on a single lower unit is going to mean real fuel savings. Charter guys with 30'+ boats and long runs will be all over these, IMHO. We'll know the durability of the lower units pretty quick under those conditions. :twocents:

Just look out there, anyone manufacturing anything having to do with the outdoors has never seen opportunities like there are now. Remington is a good case, if you can't manufacture arms and ammunition in a profitable way in 2020, you should be out of business, it's not going to be much better and there will be much worse years.
