It’s time for another thread.
Let’s see what you have caught. I use to fish a lot more than I do now, but I have some photos to contribute.
I will set the bar low with this Quincy lake giant :chuckle: :chuckle:
Please feel free to share

Is it fair to enter a oversized silver football in a fishing contest? C’mon man :dunno:
-
Never got a round weight on it, but I'd guess it conservatively at low to mid-40's.

Haha, the fish is legit - but I do have a bit of an advantage being able to drag about 30 times more spoons and flashers around than you guys do :chuckle:

I wouldn't have wanted to run into him alone in a dark alley! What a beast though.

I think this is unofficially a state record Golden Trout.
-
Caught these last summer.
-
Few more. Most of my good ones are on my hard drive. I'll work on that later.
-
Couple from different climates
-
Here's the biggest halibut I never hooked. He snarfed down a yelloweye that was hooked and the spines got stuck enough in his throat he came to the surface with it.

I'll take your bet, and raise you 100$! This one had a yellow eye in its stomach. I didn't reel on this fish, but I did the harpooning and rodeoing up down the side of the boat, so I can claim it.

Super cool. Bucket list fish for me but every lake I have gone to that supposedly has them is over run with brookies.

:chuckle: :chuckle:
I only kept one maybe two out of that photo dump.
It was a 35 inch buck which at that time was my best steelhead. I kept it, the limit was two. One or two cast later I landed a 37 inch hen, and had to throw it back to keep fishing.
-
PB hatch and wild steelies and a couple ho’s!

Fishing ice edges on rosie today

It's a good thing sculpin aren't bigger, they'd eat the whole planet otherwise.

:chuckle: Don't get me wrong, I do own a spey rod, and I thoroughly enjoy fishing with it. It can be quite productive in the right situations, but dang it is out of control on our rivers. Sage is practically printing money along with Simms. So it goes.
Rant over, back to our regular scheduled programming
