Had a buddy in town and hit Sammamish for a bit yesterday. Windy and cold, but it was dry. Found some big schools of perch. We'd sit on them until they moved, and track them down again. Perfect Spot lock situation. Then we trolled our way back and grabbed a few trout for a buddy that wanted some for dinner.

North end. Just cruising 50-60 feet watching the sonar.
Could have filled the livewell, but been there-done that when you get home with 75 perch to fillet!

were they showing up as christmas trees for you. When I lived on the wetside I saw some perch schools on Samammish and Washington that were thick enough and big enough that it just showed as a black band or made the screen go black.
