Ok there are probably lots of opinions on Diamond bows and some will say good some will say bad, however when working with a limited budget and wanting v to get back into archery how does the Edge SB1or Edge 320 stack up? No I can't justify or afford spending $1000.00 for a bow.

IMO they are a great bow.I bought my oldest daughter the SB1 and it shoots great and very adjustable.If you don’t know they are a bowtech company just like Mathews has their mission line

Don't overlook used bows, lotta guys get new bows each year just to keep the excitement level up.
Great bows to be had 1-5 years old, or maybe a discontinued model.

Couple buddies have them and love em. Bought the wife one a few years ago and she loves it. When we practice I’ll shoot hers just as much as mine :chuckle: lightweight and accurate.

My wife got a diamond sbe1 edge. It was a fine bow for the price. All the components are junk and you should upgrade them. But I was able to tune it very easily and it’s still faster then bows of 20 years ago. Personally I would start shopping for a used bow you will pay about the same and will want to get components anyway. 1000$ for everything is practical no matter which route you go. Sight, rest, arrows, broadheads, release.

Yeah I'd go used. You could get a top of the line bow fully set up for 600 plus. The diamond rest and site are junk imo. I bought my daughter one and put my old drop away on it. Works way better. Try ebay or archery talk classifieds.

Yep forgot to add that swapping out the rest and sight are a must.

Thank you everyone for advice and suggestions a fellow member of the forum just happened to have a left hand SB1wanted to part with and found a buyer. Will take the advice of swapping out the rest.

We own two mission and one Mathews in our family and they are all great. The two mission bows are very affordable and very accurate. The new mission HMMR is amazingly lightweight and has a large pull weight and draw length adjustment. My daughter is shooting the new one but I have put many arrows through it and it is really great bow for the price.
