That's weird? To have one collard and find that one and 4 more dead all togther? I wonder if they got parvo or something at a den site or something like that?
-
Ya that could be. I think parvo mostly gets pups and some adolescents though. I would think it would be too early for a new litter.
-
Yeah Im not sure when they have pups. I bet they have a den site this time of year and they got sick and were just hanging out there and all died close. Its weird they could find so many all together. I guess disease or poison?
-
Is the article literally only 50 words long? Or am I missing something 🤔

Wondered why the flags were at half mast today. Seems like flags are low every other day.

A few times.

They title it wolf kills and not wolf deaths :dunno: I would think to use the wolf kill title there must be some indication of them being killed and not dying of some other semi-natural death.

You give reporters far too much credit, when sloppy journalism is the norm

Drug overdose? Covid? Suicide pack?
-
Feb 9th, and they are just now putting this out? :chuckle:
-
"only just beginning to recover" Oregon came out with first wolf pack in 70 years the very same day as WDFW were finally forced to confirm a pack in the Methow.
-
5 is a good start.
-
No matter how they died it has a HAPPY ENDING.
-
A "wonderful news story"!!

Exsanguination is a natural death, they naturally die when they run out of blood. :dunno:

Well crack is legal down there.... :o

There is a point of mutual exclusivity here....Defenders of Wildlife will continue to work to make Oregon safe for people and wolves.”
