Seen a few pics from co-worker at work.
Seen it laying in the ditch between kettle and colville on 395.
Kinda did look like a wolf but I didn't stop to take pics, looked like another pickup was there.
It was a wolf or somebody's husky got hit.
I just posted to see if anybody had seen or heard anything. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:
I seen it about an hour ago.

Here's a pic I found on the interwebs.

That’s a nice big yote :chuckle:
-
Life in that area is a little better with one less large coyote.
This just brightened my gray, gloomy day.
Thank you for the post and then the nice picture.

Statesman is saying a male wolf was hit and killed on 395 at Autoview rd on the 27th.

That's a good looking wolf.

That's a good looking wolf.
He is now.

The best line in the entire story was that.
The wdfw "helped" in removing the animal. I'm guessing they could not get there fast enough.

Mighty good wolf

It's surprising that nobody really takes it seriously.
This was right outside of colville, thought wolves avoided people. And of course nobody knows which pack it was from.
There is a few cow lots just outside of town ,which I suspect what this critter was up too .Being this close to town.
At the same time kinda BS it's calves season and people are trying to keep there livestock close to home and it's still not safe.
-
That's because you posted a picture of a dead coyote. Any local that lives in the valley or people who spend a fair amount of time around there all know that wolves roam the entire county and nobody I know would be surprised to hear of one seen or hit anywhere in that valley. :twocents:

I imagine the ranchers and farmers in your area all take the presence of wolves (&coyotes) seriously. It’s their livelihoods!

All I guess I'm saying is,
That there is Alot more wolves than WDFW care to admit.
If we are starting to get road kill wolves.
