Title: Archery shop owner
Post by: Jingles on March 29, 2021, 03:17:11 PM
Strange request hoping an Archery Shop owner might have cams to fit a Martin Cougar 2 to take it from a 28 to 30 inch draw length to a 26 to 28 inch.  Yea I realize probably stand a better chance of  winning both the powerball and mega millions lottery in the same week but trying to repurpose the bow for my grand daughter.

They may have something.

And when the pass opens I could bring them over.

Well being as I'm not sure just new camps would work and hate to scrap a bow that was shot very little, might have to change limbs if that would work. I do know that the new Martin owners do not do anything for the models before they bought the company.
Heck I have a  LH Bobcat bow sitting here that never even got shot, heck never even had a rest put on it and now not much more than a oversized paper weight
Total of 3 bows that aren't being used, 2 cougar 2's and the bobcat but now have grandkids that are expressing interest and all left handed, well left eye dominate

I have all of the draw mods for my old Martin Jaguar. I doubt it’s the same cam system (single cam) but if it is I could probably help you out. Let me know if turns out to be the same cam. Model year was probably about 2006.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and tips on where to look.
The bow is a 2 cam system and was  purchased in the early 80's when the better half and I both shot competitively in state, national and International shoots and she consistently beat me. Whole new world now going from fingers to release and 30+years of not shooting
