MPS = Miles Per Shed (walked) :chuckle:
just for fun, I added a poll
-
Hot days and cold days but I'm positive my average is somewhere between 5 and 10 miles, closer to 10.

“Hot days and cold days “ some days it’s 5-6 miles and not finding anything... other days can be 5 in 2 miles. Got 4 from the road a few days ago.

Anyone look for them at night after a rainstorm?

All I know is that it's been awhile since I found one :dunno: :dunno:

not in a rain storm but at night. Packing out an elk a few years ago I was heading up a pretty steep slope in the sage brush. The head lamp was pointing down at the ground due to the steep hill. Found a two point deer shed. I laughed my butt off. Can’t find them that well during the day and there I was in the dark and picked one up.

I said in the 5-10 mile ranger per shed. Although I’m on a cold streak at the moment and am getting close to the 20 mile mark with nodda.

4 in my last 19 miles. I would say that's better than average for me.
