Title: Son shot a great bird!
Post by: johnr060 on April 03, 2021, 08:53:49 PM: My 9 year old got his second Tom today. Birds were tough to find on public land, as most of them are still grouped up on private. He stuck it out and we found one that wanted to play after probably 100 miles on the truck and 5 miles on the boots.

That is a Steven's County bird. We have shot a few that have that coloration.
