It was getting to be a real mess, garbage and trees getting shot up so bad I wondered how they still stood.

I take my granson to the Darrington Pit off the 18 road (435th)
Been taking him for two years now and pick uou the pigs old shothun hills and steel rifle & pistol cases every trip up there.
We go every weekend from this time of the year until November and pick up trash every trip. Five trips so far this year and every trip we haul out three or more five gallon buskets of shothun hulls and or steel rifle & pistol cases.

It amazes me the pigs that go shooting and never pick a damn thing up and wonder why people look down on people who shoot.
In two years I personally picked up tons of shotgun hulls and rifle & pistol cases and a *censored* load of nails from skids people take up there to shoot at and then burn them up.

I live right by that pit.  Gave up shooting there about 5 yrs ago.  Too damn many flatlanders come there and leave their trash.  It is nonstop shooting from Friday midday to Sunday night well after sun down.  How people shoot in the dark is beyond me.  Then ya have the idiots that need exploding targets, you don't just hear that in the pit.  I am really surprised they haven't shut that pit down.  Since the price of ammo skyrocketed and the availability of it is hard to come by the shooting isn't as frequent yet.  But it will pick up as the weather breaks.

Thank you for picking up trash left by others.

I never ventured back in at C-Post. I have traveled a lot of other roads since my grandson got old enough to enjoy that type of stuff.
