Title: Toyota/Lexus Recall - Fuel pump
Post by: pianoman9701 on April 13, 2021, 02:56:20 PM
Check out the list on their page and get it fixed. Mine hesitates once in a while when I step on the gas. I guess it gets more dangerous than that. It took me about 3 months to get an appointment and it's going in on Saturday. I am going to beat the crap out of that free loaner!!!!! (Kidding.)

There's a nationwide shortage on recall parts, dealers can't sell vehicles with open recalls.

I just been car shopping, pretty tough market on used.

It is tough out there. Bought the wife a beautiful blue 2020 Avalon limited hybrid with 1900 miles on it a few weeks ago. Had to look long and hard then drive to Hermiston to get what we wanted but it was worth it. Just checked the recall. Doesnt look like her car is on it. Thanks for the heads up.
