That should be good news for Arees :chuckle:

I was hoping for one closer to home. Maybe the one that was on the Redmond Ridge golf course. :)
I liked the part at the end were the reporter said they would move the bear up to the mountains "where they belong." I guess it is too much to ask a reporter to know that the bears were here first.
-
I love how the reporter predicts a "horrible accident". Give me a break. Maybe a school bus will hit the bear and 75 passengers and the driver will be killed in the BIG BUS FIRE OF 2009!!! Don't make me... :puke:
I live about 1/2 mile from the bear. We got coyotes, bears, rabbits, deer, and all kinds of wild animals around here. Wouldn't piss me off so bad, but I have dip*censored*s in helicopters flying over my house this morning. I'm getting so sick of the news and their panic mode. That's why I got rid of t.v.
Wish I had a spring bear tag and a bow. That would really give those weenies something to talk about. :pee:

a friend took me out after that bear last year (I think, it was pretty much right there), he kinda snuck up on us and got all huffy (couldn't see him through the blackberry bushes, but he made a racket).
-
LOL, I literally drove by that trap about half an hour ago and I was thinking "WTF is there a bear trap out here for?" Well... now I know.
-
Funny thing to me about all of this is, about two weeks ago I seen him in the same spot. Dumb ass drivers didnt even notice him. He has been there for awhile now, but all of a sudden it is a "life threating issue to motorists."
I hope he gives them the slip and comes back to haunt thier dreams :)

"up in the mountains, where a bear should be"
idiots.
-
Media has to exagerate this! Moving him to the mountains is going to help? :dunno: So he gets hit up on Hwy. 2 is any better? Like a deer, dog or some other animal couldn't cause an accident on the freeway. How many deer and other animals are drilled on the roads? Dumbchit boyfriend of that girl almost caused a major accident from slamming his breaks on instead of paying attention of what was ahead or around him and getting out of the way without swerving too hard. If the bear has been there for years and hasn't been a problem before then leave him alone and let him go about his own business. I thought he was a good side show when driving through there.
-
I live just south of there and have been seeing that same bear for awhile. He is smart and has learned the ways of the freeway. The media isn't giving him enough credit.
-
Well he tripped the trap......they reset it and now he is going for a ride.
-
Anybody else get a kick out of the reporter talking about state patrol and fish and wildlife, but the uniformed guy they were interviewing was Stilliguamish Tribal Police? :chuckle:
-
More choppers last night, but now it's quiet. Maybe they caught him.

He is my next door neighbor. :chuckle:

Yea, just seen on KOMO they trapped him.
