for chicken breast lunch meat when you can pay $1.99.lb for breasts and make your own? time to slice, vacuum pack and freeze  and yes i love the dollar store 2 for 1 tin pans, keeps the smoker clean no grease fires :chuckle:

I agree. I only buy lunch meat at Winco. Places like Fred Meyer, Hagen etc. are ridiculously overpriced. I can buy steak cheaper most of the time. Making your own is best.

 I dont care for most poultry lunch meat so I do this also from time to time usually just bake chicken breast though .Or buy cheap turkey around the holidays and throw a couple in the freezer and then smoke one have a meal and turn the rest into lunch meat and or secondary meals
Another good one is find cheap breast or bonless skinless thighs and can them . Awesome chicken salad or quick dinner fixins .
