I'm planning to take my boat out on the river this weekend to try for some walleye but not sure how to go about targeting them. For those of you who've had success what type of set up are you using? Also what depth are you fishing? Appreciate any advice you all can share.
Thanks,
Beaumont

When I'm fishing a new walleye spot, I like to try and find inlets or eddy areas. I'll jig or troll my way from 15' out to the main channel, paying close attention to the downstream point of the inlet or back eddy. If I don't find any fish after a couple passes, I'm looking elsewhere.
Far from being an expert and the overpopulated upper Columbia makes it fairly easy to FIND them.
