Title: 30-06 magazine question
Post by: walt on April 24, 2009, 03:18:49 PM: I have a magazine for a 30-06 that came to me in a box full of ammo and stuff from my grandfathers gun safe after he passed. I have no idea what gun it came from, I didn't know he had an 06. Anyone recognize it or how should I go about identifying it's home? Take it to a gun shop?

Post by: coop2424 on April 24, 2009, 04:39:30 PM: Looks like a clip from a remington Semi-Auto rifle. There are many models that it could be but they are Remington 7400, 742, and 740 and there is a bunch of them in between those. We have a 7400 and it looks the exact same as that.
