You all were my inspiration to make my own "man cave". The first thing that I needed was a good, solid reloading bench! I got step one done last week and still need to add a few things like my arbor press and case trimmer, but I was pretty happy how it turned out. My wife bought be a electronic powder dispenser/scale for my "getting out of the Navy" present so she deserves some credit as well. Here is a pic......

I like the stain. Makes it look nicer than just the raw wood.
-
Very nice.....Classy!
-
Very nice! Job well down!!

Thanks. I am pretty retarded when it comes to wood working so I was pretty happy with it. I made no attemp to build shelves or drawers.....it wouldn't have been good! :chuckle:
-
That looks really good. I see you even managed to find some powder.

What kind of wood and stain did you use, that looks pretty sweet.

Thats a tough feat, however it's the places you wouldn't expect that you find the powder you need lol. I was at a pistol range and found 3 tubs of H1000 and 4 of RETUMBO, if any1 needs Retumbo and is near Tacoma LMK, I left it on the shelf.
-
Which range? I need some H1000

Good looking bench! You aughta crank out a lot of rounds on it!
-
Yeah, if I could find some components. :chuckle: I went to Sportsmans today and it was horrible - Literally nothing on the shelves.

ok, now take all the stuff you have in those containers and dump them upside down on the bench, leave your loading maunal open with the pages all folded up and have about twenty random pieces of paper with a bunch of notes scribbled on them and it will start to look like a real loading bench. hang in there you almost got it :P

Oh no, notice that my bench is in the house. My wife has OCD - nothing, I mean NOTHING is out of place! :chuckle:

I have OCD as well. My bench stays clean. My buddy on the other hand who uses my bench, messes everything up and then never bothers cleaning anything so I have to go behind him and clean up his messes.

Looks good, you can always add shelves later if you need them.
