Got one in the exact same spot as last year. We roosted a couple birds the night before and in the morning went to the ridge above them. They sat in the tree gobbling for the longest time, it seems like we waited forever, my ass was so asleep it was dreaming. We waiting for probably 30-40 minutes and then they came out of the tree. 5-10 minutes later they came straight up to us. At 32 yards I shot this bird. Weird bird, he's got a small fan but he weighed 19 lbs. which is pretty good in my book. He had an 8 1/16" beard and 3/4'' spurs.
