Well i really dont think it gets much easier than this. we parked the quads and were getting ready to go on a hike and we thought we would hit the call to see if anything would respond. right away we heard them gobbling at us about a hundred yards away in some trees. we loaded up the guns and snuck down behind some pucker brush and called them right in. we weren't there five minutes. It was both of our first turkeys. Mine had a triple beard!! Its a 9 incher with two 4ish beards. The other tom is a 8 1/2.

 very cool! Nice job.

Nice job!! I know a well-known bowhunter who used to tell me, "hey, I'd rather be lucky than good" Lady luck was pretty generous to you and your buddy!
(...this post reminds me of those first-time elk hunters with 320 class "first elk" bulls loaded whole in the backs of trucks. "well, we heard a bugle so we cow-called a couple times. He came right in and just stood there broadside at 21 yards...then after my arrow passed through, he ran down the ridge and loaded himself right up in the bed of my truck! I couldn't believe how easy it was.."
