Title: Unit 204 over ran with bear.
Post by: jason stevens on June 19, 2021, 04:51:05 PM: 1 week soak an this is what we get at 4700 feet along with elk an deer. Plenty of good bucks both whitetail an mules. I think it's time for some management. These guys keep eating the deer blocks. An yes I know we cANt harvest around the bait

We've got a black bear that's 3 from the camera an 4 foot tall. Amazing bear

Post by: wadu1 on June 19, 2021, 08:57:56 PM: Cool photo's. Talked to the bro-in-law yesterday, he lives on Quadra island in BC. The game department had to dispatch a 2 year old Griz that was killing livestock and pets. Griz are not normally on Vancouver or Quadra but have been swimming out.

She said she was doing some work on a trail, had a thought that this wide a trail of as odd. Moved off trail just as a griz went by her. We haven’t seen one yet, but know there’s a possibility. We know they dump problem wolves up around bonapart too. Lots of predators up there
