Title: Utah South Cache late rifle elk
Post by: Dlsmith222 on June 20, 2021, 11:52:55 AM
I have been blessed in drawing the only non resident tag for this South Cache late rifle hunt. This season is Mid November and as much as I would like to get down with family, work, and my farm I am going to be doing more E Scouting then anything. I have contacted biologists and other fish and game personnel and I am waiting to hear a response from a few yet. Does anyone have any knowledge about what to expect for my hunt. Things I should be aware of. I already know I am dealing with drought conditions in the area but any information on the elk habits down there, to even good places to camp would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone this year.

Tagging along... I have 8 Utah points.  How many did you use to draw this tag?

I drew cache north HAMS. I’m not sure yet if I was really lucky or really dumb for applying for a new hunt. If anyone in the past has held a Cache north tag, I’m all ears.
