Title: Close enough to raise my hackles.
Post by: Ghost Hunter on June 29, 2021, 05:05:39 PM: Had a close one this morning, and no weapon. Early this morning cleaning a little brush on property line. I think he was trying to flush me. Didn't see it but sounded too close for comfort. Several howls over next 30 minutes after I vacated to a safer location.

Post by: KFhunter on June 29, 2021, 06:03:34 PM: Pretty simmilar to encounters I've had so far, bit of noise in the brush, circling in my wind, maybe a few chirpy barks, huffing a bit, but don't show themselves or come in for a direct confrontation.

Now, if there's fresh meat or pups involved...all bets are off!
