Title: First time shooting the new pistol
Post by: goosegetter79 on April 27, 2009, 11:40:01 AM
Finally got out and shot my new Springfield XD .45auto. Ran 50 rounds through it and am loving it. Had a Ruger .45 before this one and am really liking the way the Springfield shoots. It was hitting a little to the left so adjusted the rear sight a little and now hitting dead on at 20 yards. What do you all think about these guns?

I've had an XD Service in 9mm for a while now... it has close to 1500 rounds through it... and has never failed once. I think the XD is the most user friendly pistol on the market. Everyone who has shot mine, from first timers to old timers, has shot it well and liked the feel. It's a little chubby for everyday carry... but I carry mine daily anyway.
