Title: spotting scope for backpack hunting
Post by: badnewskruse on August 01, 2021, 05:52:15 PM: So im in the market for a new spotting scope and im looking for recommendations on something that is light and fits well in a backpack. The one i have now is just to big and bulky takes up to much space. Thanks for any input fellas

Post by: badnewskruse on August 01, 2021, 07:48:53 PM: my budget is about 1500 but could do more for the right glass. buy once cry once ha this will probably be the last one i buy for a long time so i dont have a problem spending a bit more for something quality that i will be happy with for the next twenty years

Those little Nikon ED50's are pretty darn good spotters and for something small to stick in your pack but still has very good optics the ED50 is a great option.

Me too. No problems with it. Been really useful, and a good size.
