Title: How much more growth can I expect?
Post by: Elkfun12 on August 14, 2021, 07:59:22 PM: Just checked cameras. Only got 6 days worth of pictures until a elk knocked it off the tree. Looks like he has matching kickers started. Picture was June 29th. Don't know how to judge the whitetails. He's going in the freezer if I get a chance.

But I'm not sure how they grow down here compared wa. I've heard July is the best month for growth. If that's the case these 2 will be beasts. Just wanted some opinions from fellow members. Season opens September 1st here for archery!

Post by: Elkfun12 on August 15, 2021, 07:06:30 AM: It's 3 hours from me. In the middle of a corn field and the wind is always bad. But I checked cameras on June 26th and checked them yesterday. There's a small herd of elk in the draw also. On July 5th the elk knocked my camera down. So the last month and a half there has been no picture :bash:
