Title: Early Season Cougar Hunting Question....
Post by: bsharp on August 29, 2021, 04:57:14 PM: So I was looking at the WDFW website at https://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/regulations/big-game/cougar and it appears that all of the early cougar season is closed or am I not reading this correctly. It lists all the units then states that the season is closed. Maybe, since it isn't Sept 1 yet it is closed until then. Not sure I understand the logic of having a table that lists all the units and state that they are closed.

This list will be helpful during the late season which is I believe when the quota takes effect. It'll be interesting to see if they use this list then. Better way to check instead of the phone message system.

Cougar used to start, opening of DEER oct 15 or thereabouts. wash, save the cougar idiots.
