Title: ELKTEMBER is upon us!
Post by: WapitiTalk1 on September 01, 2021, 08:21:31 AM: Here we go, It's getting to be that time again. The bulls are getting a bit "twitchy", with many of them leaving the security of their remote bachelor pads to go see what the gals have been up to this past year. To all of you who are grabbing their bow and departing for the local or distant September elk woods, I wish you all safe travels and the best of luck as you attempt to bring an elk home for dinner over the next four weeks. I'll be pulling out a week from this Saturday, getting a bit twitchy myself.

Post by: vandeman17 on September 01, 2021, 01:01:26 PM: We were down in NE Oregon for the opener for a few days. Only saw a handful of elk and they weren't vocal yet. Heading back down in a few weeks to hopefully fill a tag and get some elk in the freezer.

We have several bulls chasing cows on 1 of our trail cams already can’t wait😁
