Alright guys, so I’ve been kicking around the idea of threading my browning a bolt. It’s my main hunting rifle, I use it for all my big game that I rifle hunt. I’ve been wanting a suppressor for a while now, tired of the ringing ears after firing at an animal. The only thing is my a bolt has a octagon barrel. I’d like to find a gunsmith capable of threading the barrel, making a octagon thread protector and timing it to line up with the barrel. I’ve seen some people do it on lever guns, so it’s not impossible! Thanks for any leads!

If I was wanting something like that done I'd probably contact Karl with Kampfeld Custom http://www.kampfeldcustom.com/ Karl is a really good guy will be very honest with you and does great work.

Probably have to time it to line up which defeats the self timing aspect tho
