Insanity is making a full court press on WDFW!
Note the individuals and the organizations that signed off on this letter pleading with Inslee to appoint two more radical anti-hunting Commissioners.
We need a coordinated response from the hunting and angling communities that contribute FAR more to wildlife conservation and management on a pro-rata basis than these wolf-hugging weirdos ever will.

When calling or emailing your legislators remember that the governor is "required" to appoint a diverse commission! Not what we have today. I have already sent emails to Tim Sheldon reminding him of this as well as the fact that the last two commissioners have yet to be confirmed.

Bingo.

I really really really don’t like the sounds of “a bold new conservation policy”
-
That's a scary list of signatures.
-
What do you guys expect, the guy has his check engine light ON.
:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Do we know that names of the 2 appointees so we can put that in our letter? Thanks

I find it very peculiar that you can't search the term "hunting" on the DNR website. Fishing, biking, hiking all work. The word "hunting" or "hunt" shuts down the search function. (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E_xZGYlVEAgTdNm?format=jpg&name=900x900)

Isn’t that peculiar...

They will have their way with wdfw because of the governor, the ag, and the folks that will stand aside and let it happen. Those people view us as adversaries/enemies. That is how they need to be viewed by those of us who they are indirectly taking away our freedoms of choice. We choose to hunt/fish, they dont, so leave it at that and leave others alone. Just one more thing in the near future that will generate violence.

Just sit back and take it huh? Not!!

It may just be a funky search engine.

Wow the website for that agency that sent the letter pretty much screams end hunting now without expressly saying it. I tried to give them a call but it went to message. Will try them back later. I just want to ask them if their goal is to end hunting and see what they say.
-
Saving those signatures for later……
-
So I thought the criminals sounded familiar!!!

The list of signed signatures and the organizations they represent is and should be alarming to anyone who purchases a hunting or fishing license in this state. That letter to Inslee couldn't be more in our faces guys. Action by all should be as mush as a priority as going to elk camp this year. I'm not well versed in how to find out who to contact to voice my concerns. Can someone post a link to make replies to this nonsense easier?
Also, is there a way to get this in front of all of us on here so all can take written action? This one needs swift action.

A great help is sportsman’s alliance. They specialize in helping to protect sportsmens rights in state to state issues. Just google sportsmen’s alliance. On the homepage of their website their is a large option to help protect rights in your state. Simply enter your zip code and it will give you all of your local legislators and senators information and contact information.
There’s a ton of great conservation groups to join and support (IE ducks unlimited, SCI, Rocky Mountain elk foundation and the like). Almost all of these conservation groups are awesome and do a lot of work but in our particular situation Sportsman’s Alliance is one of the best groups we can support. Simply because we are in way more danger of losing our rights to our own fish and game department than we are to habitat loss

Meh...Sportsman's Alliance is indeed a good organization, but I wouldn't be too quick to discount SCI. They/we are the undisputed 800 lb. gorilla in the game when it comes to fighting to protect hunting and hunters...and it's a VERY rare day in Olympia and D.C. when any other hunting organization takes a stand, with lawsuits or otherwise.
If you doubt that, who do you think discovered the issue before it became public, posted this, helped get this and the other ugly WDFW Commission issue(s) into the light of day via various channels, and has already been in deep conversations with influential legislators. ;)
That said, I/we don't care about sharing the limelight. SCI only cares about winning. So, let's circle the wagons and use any and all means at our disposal to slam a giant wrecking ball through this anti-hunting nonsense.
Will keep you posted!
