I was forced to hunt a different unit this year cause of the cap Debacle I got screwed like everyone else. Anyway I’m gonna be in 33 for deer and head up out of garden valley does anyone feel like sharing info on what to expect people wize? Where to get away from people and where not to go. I have a few spots picked out I’ll be in a wall tent and I’ll be solo. If anyone else is in the same predicament let’s meet up and find some animals. Feel free to text 360 710 2002 Jed

Hi Jed
Sort of in the same predicament you were in 2021 with having to switch to unit 33. I’ve got the regular tag and looking to bag a nice muley. Just curious as to how the experience went for you and if you’d be willing to help a fellow border crossed out.
Thanks
Riley

It's not 33, but I hunted 32 again this year and after four days of hard work in the draws we found one small doe; period.
There were some nice bucks on posted lands and in the town of Emmett but zip on public. It was hammered VERY hard from quad traffic. Seems almost nobody actually gets off a set of wheels and hunts on foot but us. I also, never saw anything hanging at the dozens of camps we passed. They had a very hard winter about four years ago and it appears that area is still not back up to pre winter kill numbers.
