Title: Barnes Vor-tx surprise
Post by: High Climber on October 07, 2021, 10:07:21 PM: I picked up a couple boxes of .243 Barnes vor-tx ttsx a few weeks ago at sportsman’s warehouse planning on using it in my sons gun for deer this year. Well we have been out shooting a few times now with other Ammo and it was time today to dial in with the Barnes in prep for the season. When I loaded the magazine, I couldn’t get a round to chamber so I started investingating… we’ll come to find out Barnes had put .308 win bullets in the .243 box. I have another box at home I’m hoping it’s not the same story. That’s a first for me

I guess it’s possible, but I cut the clear sticker Barnes seals there boxes with.

That is weird. They ended up sending me 3 boxes of .243, no explanation or apology. I love the Ammo and appreciate them making it right but it’s pretty concerning that the quality control is that poor.
