I know this is early, but is next year the year that the Archery Elk season moves back and starts a week earlier? That would put the season starting September 3rd, in hot/dry weather and over Labor Day weekend. I think they're at the end of a 3 year hunting season cycle if I recall correctly. Wish WDFW would just keep the same season start/finish dates the same every year, but that would be asking too much! Thanks in advance.

It is the Saturday following labor day weekend.
.
That's how they set the date.

No hunting season after next year. The socialist don’t like it.

Thanks, that's better news than I expected. Happy to see that they don't roll back the season start date like they used to.
