I had a DNR officer this fall suggest I get a E bike to ride behind the gates. Sounds like they do not have a clear plan.they don’t, and each officer has a different ego to deal with, some are cool and some think they are clint Eastwood. That’s why I keep that federal law in my pics on my phone, in case I meet up w clint.

Without reading all this. There are private timber companies that state on signs saying No EBikes. This does not categorize large motors vs small motors. But an E bike is an E bike. Period. So when I see clowns riding in with them I can't help but laugh at how many people are ignorant in regards to them being the entitled hunter over everyone else. Because they have the cool new thing.us clowns can read, the private timber companies have their own rules. I’d never grab my big clown boots and believe I can ride on Hancock (private) property because my e(evil)bike is under 750 watts. I think the anti e bike (nazi’s) have never ridden one. There is a place for them, the older I get, the more I enjoy them. There are plenty of walk in only gates, F N relax! Damn, one day (and it will happen fast) you’ll get old!

If local laws prohibit ebikes then it doesn’t matter what the Federal or State laws say, which means that ebikes are not allowed.

If its gated 99 9 percent of the time means no motorized vechicles.. and in that sense no ebike should be legal.. the hr727 or whatever was designed around federal parks and actual mtn bike areas that provide specific bike access.. not gated roads where motorized acces is not allowed.. to claim its not motorized is a joke.. and if your allowed so should a dirt bike

Not a bear but did get it out 5 miles behind a gate, all steep up hill going in, was a great day thanks to my ebike.
Trophyhunt, do you have brakes on the trailer? I'm looking to upgrade my rovers brakes and possibly getting a trailer.

Are private property.
If it's closed for motor vehicle that includes e-bike.
I know Alot of you guys get upset that you paid x amount of money for your e bike.
Let's put it this way .....
I paid for my bad ass truck in the driveway ,that I could hook up to any gate post and rip the whole gate out.
Just cause I paid for my truck,does that make it right to hook up to the gate and drag it into the next county.
NO it don't.
No one believes it,but every time you go behind gates that are closed off- especially private land gate. You will hurt future access for hunters. It's no joke.
