Might be my favorite buck you’ve posted this year.

Man, what a shot. Great job.

Really like that buck!

What lens do you use for your shots. I feel like I can never get close enough with mine for these kinds of pictures.
Also I’m going to need the gps coordinates where you took this photo :chuckle:

Awesome photo! Those eyeguards almost look like they could have some Grouchoitis?

Love trashy bases and eye guards. Another great shot Bone!

Great buck!

Damn you get some incredible shots! I’m curious, do you enjoy hunting with a camera more than actual hunting these days? Seems like a lot of fun “hunting the rut” the way you do.

Pretty much. I don’t need to draw a tag. It’s more challenging. It’s a lot harder to take a good photo of an animal than it is to kill it. Many times it’s harder to sneak in with a bulky camera than a long bow. I’ve got to hunt places I’ve always wanted to but will never get to, such as this year I went down to the Henry’s and the Book Cliffs. I have more antlers than place to put them, so I don’t really need more, and with a camera I can shoot as many deer as I want.

Thank you!
