16 months ago, my Tacoma got hit in Loews parking lot. Damage $2,700 Three weeks ago, an old Lady backed into my truck in a parking lot. Damage $800. Monday night, a Tundra ran into my left front panel in a parking lot as I was leaving a meeting for Chinook Archers. Damage is about $5,500. Wife called me Tuesday night after hitting a curb in her new Corolla (for the second time), shredding the front passenger tire. $125 replacement. The first time, it was both driver side tires. $250. Last Fall, she ran a stop sign and got T-boned. Damage Totaled 2002 Camry (hence the new Corolla). It's been an awesome truck but I think my wife should stop driving and I should put those orange flags on all four corners of my truck.

I have a car that’s a magnet for accidents! My neighbor bought a new Chev Cruze in 2013, couple weeks later his wife gets rear ended. A year later I buy the car, since I’ve owned it I’ve had two people hit me, one backed into me on an on ramp!! State Farm said I was 18% to blame, I was on an on ramp and they backed into me!!! Then a lady ran me off the road destroying my wheel and tire. And just Wednesday night on my way home, a deer jumped out in front of me and I managed to swerve and she hit the side of my car, leaving a grease mark down the side of the car.

Here you go, might work :dunno: :chuckle:

My sister swears up and down her car is an accident magnet. "Stupid people are always running into it!" Funny thing is her last car was an accident magnet too, and the one before that... but it's never her fault :chuckle: :chuckle:

:twocents:
Not saying it's a good idea, but it's an idea.

Are you sure the cars are the magnet's? :chuckle:

I'm a firm believer that cars have personalities.....if it is a problem car, I get rid of it. If it is a good car, I drive it till it dies.
2018 dodge ram diesel......cost me a years worth of payments with repairs. Now it is someone else problem. My 2006 ram was the best truck ever owned and I ran it for a very long time. Some vehicles are plagued with problems or bad mojo. Sell the toyota and upgrade.
As for the wife......I let you deal with that one on your own!! :chuckle: :chuckle: Not sure it is any cheaper to try and trade her in.

In my wife's case, no. In my case, two were while I was parked and the other, I was hit in the side by a guy going through the parking lot without paying attention.

I had a 90 Toyota pickup that I couldn't seem to avoid being hit in. Rear ended a couple times, had someone run into the bed, even had someone back into the the front once at a stop light (was worried that it as an insurance fraud case waiting to happen but luckily was not). Each time their insurance or they'd give me some money and I'd leave the damaged parts intact and move on. That truck paid for itself lol
It was one of those six shades of red, dinged and dented, but couldn't stop the motor if you tried trucks. Its the one i regret getting rid of the most.
