Title: Removing scratches on stainless
Post by: Igor on November 14, 2021, 08:17:51 AM: Is there a good way to remove surface scratches like these on stainless? It seems like every effort I have seen results in the area being way shinier than the rest of the gun. The original finish is somewhat matte, and it would be nice to make it look better.......something short of an entire re-finish of the revolver.

If the only answer is a complete refinish, is there anyone in the area who does good work?

Thanks.....that makes perfect sense. That's probably why guns I've seen where it's been tried have that "shiny" area.

Does anyone here have any experience with Arden Gun?
