World premiere: CZ presents the new CZ 600 bolt-action

No more Hornet based calibers and some hokey cockamamie push feed they are trying to fob off as controlled round feed. I have Sakos that 527s are close to in quality and Howa mini actions that do just as well with 223 based cartridges for a lot less money.
The 527 was a gem, this mass production morphydite is just another disposable rifle that would be right at home in IKEA if they ever decide to expand into the outdoor sports market.

I've had a handful of 527 Varmint models, still have my two 17 Hornets, they're a pretty decent little gun for the price but in all fairness to CZ and considering nobody has really had one of the new 600's in hand to call them junk is grossly premature. Now, if you were to call them fugly, based on the models I've seen pictures of so far, I would totally agree, but, I'm a little biased and the only 527's I think is decent looking is their Varmint model all the others are equally fugly but beauty is in the eye of the beholder so others may find them good looking.

I really like my 527 in 7.62x39. I even used it as my primary rifle on my whitetail trip this year. A little disappointing to see them discontinue the series to say the least.
Seems like the trend is toward ugly "Ruger American" style rifles now. First they got rid of the 452, then the 550, now this. They tout the availability of barrels in different chamberings, but I didn't really see that with the 455 in reality, we'll see how this goes...

What were the groups like with the one you shot?
