Title: 612 and 615 road conditions
Post by: veteran2017 on November 17, 2021, 12:26:57 PM
Any one know status of roads in 612 and 615 after all this rain.  Looks like 101 is closed.  Any elk hunters been up in clearwater or goodman after all this rain.  May be switching gears for late archery elk.  good luck to all the late archery elk hunters who make it out in these areas in a week.  Was thinking about trying park boundary but may not be any roads open due to land slides and roads washed out.

Unless your coming up from the south you may not even get into the area...
Couple of soakers lined up the next week so road fixes will take time..the washout South of forks is pretty bad.
Don't know anyone that's even tried to get into the Clearwater.. can't imagine it's in good shape knowing how water runs down those roads..
Guys I know have been checking other areas and roads are junk everywhere up there... Joyce, Sol duc, hoko etc..

From south 101 is open before bogi campground detour to forks in place.  From port angeles detour in place to bypass elwa river bridge by going to roy to forks.  Clear water roads are a mess.  Will be able to access clear water and goodman unit.  Will keep everyone updated once i go over the weekend.  Stay safe out there.
