Just an FYI if anyone is looking for a deal on summer sausage making kits Sportsmans Warehouse has them on sale for 15 bucks. Includes seasonings and casings enough for 30 lbs of meat. A bunch of our family bought muzzy deer tags this year and in the last 2 weeks have plowed a lot of BT's so we are getting ready to make a ton into summer sausage and this was the best deal we could find. If you order $50 they ship it for free. We have used this before and it turns out great. I know everyone has their own recipe but we use these and tweak them for our taste.

I just ordered the LEM summer sausage kit from Amazon, be here day after tomorrow and free shipping with Prime. Twenty two pounds of venison burger thawing out now so should be good to go by Wednesday. :tup: Gonna make up some breakfast and summer sausage batches.
