Where are all the Bears at. There's got to be more than just mine and Saylean's. Go get em....there's a crap load of them out there. Not sure how many Saylean saw out there but I saw 4 and they were all shooters. We need some more stories and pics on here. The grass is growin good, and its gotta be getting better out there if you aint seen any yet.
May 31st is sneakin up on us. Good luck. Hope you all get a good fatty one!!

I think prime time is mid-May. I expect to see a bunch more dead bear pictures posted on here in the next couple of weeks.

I agree with Bobcat.
I only saw the one bear.....however, I was hunting a very specific, small area, once I found the signs he was there. I was only there three times before I bagged him.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE OTHERS! I hope they all drop where ya pop em. :hunter:

I agree. last year when I had a spring tag they were barely even active till mid May. It's starting to green up out there fast, that'll help.

Too early yet for good hunting in NE WA and probably other mountain areas....we spend almost every day of spring turkey out hunting and just saw our first bear the other day....still lots of snow in many denning areas....usually best to wait till the last half of May if your time is limited, the last week is the best.... :twocents:
