I was blessed to field dress 10 bucks and one bull this year. I used to spend a lot of time looking for the biggest, baddest, public land buck around but I think I’m having more fun helping my boys, Nieces, nephews, and friends fill tags. I got to be part of several “firsts” this year and the smiles are something I’ll never forget. I’ve never forgotten the feeling I had when I killed my first buck, trophy buck, etc… and everyone should get to experience that feeling a time or two in their life. Every hunter profusely thanks “the guide” after a successful hunt, but I think perhaps I’m the lucky one to get to witness so much joy while marveling at this beautiful world God created. To all those who helped contribute to these hunts in some way, you have my sincere gratitude and I’m looking forward to what 2022 will bring.
