Title: Pricing a used kayak?
Post by: Parasite on February 15, 2022, 10:46:24 AM: Thinking about selling my slightly used Wilderness Systems Commander 120 Angler kayak here in about 3 weeks and I can't figure out a good price for it. It's no longer in production, and I dont know of any good sources on the web? any help?

Good point. Due to supply chain shortages, pretty much everything is commanding a premium.

Post by: scotsman on February 17, 2022, 08:00:13 PM: At the recent boat show, fishing kayaks were crazy expensive. Everybody is out of stock, taking orders for Late summer / fall deliveries. Good used boats are selling for 80-120% of original price. YMMV, but it’s a sellers market.

Thanks! Thats good to know. I missed out on the Seattle and Portland boat shows due to being stuck in Qatar.

I tried, but the checked baggage fee was horrendous. I'm only 45 minutes from the coast :(

Back in 2 weeks!
