It all comes down to, What do you want in a trail camera?
#1 trigger speed= how fast it takes to activate upon movement!
#2 motion Range= how far out can the animal be to trigger a pic taken
#3 battery life= pretty simple, how long on one set of batteries
These were/are my top criteria before I bought my second camera, and the Camera that met all these demands Ironically wasn't the most Expensive camera out there!! much to my pocket books relief,
Just my :twocents:

all the pictures shown for that scot camera were very close.....the cuddie capture looks good but what is the trigger speed? anyone know?

I like my Moultrie I40's, but the trigger time has missed a few animals. If you want a decent cam, expect to pay at least $200 in my opinion. I got a Moultrie D40 for $100 and it sucks (but for some people, it works). Too many missed shots. Picture quality and flash range is good on the I40.

well that is what i'm looking for.....somewhere between 200 to 300 but with a fast trigger speed. keep the suggestions coming.
thanks,
