Permits sold out in 4 hours. Really sucks. Spent the last 3 seasons learning a particular escapement area in 460 and finally got onto a buck last year. Now I've got to start from scratch in a new area.
Any suggestions? I remember hearing there are some rec permit areas in gmu 653?
I'm located in Redmond so I could also go North. Maybe 448?

In three years you saw one buck? Sounds to me like it’s a blessing In Disguise that you didn’t get a permit. Lots of places that hold decent deer numbers. Hop in your rig and come east.

Haha yep. You like the Teanaway?

There is an area of 653 that permits are sold. Hancock used to manage it for the Muckleshoot tribe that owns it. I understand that there is a new manager, not sure who. It's pretty slim pickings in there for deer, way worse than Campbell land. I have had both passes for the last couple years. Unless you are going to target bear it's not worth the price or your time. If you're going for bear then it's comparable to Campbell, lots of bear.

That is the White River forest 463. Up 410 towards Chinook Pass. Snoqualmie Tree Farm is Global Campbell and it is in 460 outside of North Bend.
