Just got a Leupold VX5HD 4x20x52 CDS size 34mm and putting it on my Sako A7 .300 win mag and trying to figure out what height of rings to get for it without buying several sets . Hoping some of you guys could help
Thanks Jake

Way to many variables.....what type rail and what is the height of the rail? What contour is the barrel? How long is the main tube of the scope and how back is it going to sit?
I have sat 56mm scopes on low rings before. If I had to take a guess I would think mediums would work but again way to many variables to say unless you have specifics.
This is why I own three low, med, and high rings that sit in my safe all the time. If I use a set, I replace it and wait till I buy the next rifle. :chuckle: :chuckle:

Leupol.com has a ring selector app on their website. Plus in your set up and it'll tell you what rings to get.

Thank you ! I guess I’ll open the box , never mounted a scope this size it was just too good a deal to pass up so why not put it on the .300 win mag

I have had good luck with Leopoldo rings, but all my Sakos use Sako rings. Have never had a problem with either.

I have had great success with Leupold and Millett turn in style rings. Seems to me the Millett rings are as good of quality but without the Leupold price.
