Title: What size rings to get for new scope ?
Post by: JakeLand on March 31, 2022, 04:03:14 PM: Just got a Leupold VX5HD 4x20x52 CDS size 34mm and putting it on my Sako A7 .300 win mag and trying to figure out what height of rings to get for it without buying several sets . Hoping some of you guys could help

I have sat 56mm scopes on low rings before. If I had to take a guess I would think mediums would work but again way to many variables to say unless you have specifics.

This is why I own three low, med, and high rings that sit in my safe all the time. If I use a set, I replace it and wait till I buy the next rifle. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I have had good luck with Leopoldo rings, but all my Sakos use Sako rings. Have never had a problem with either.
