cheaper? what outta state tag is $190? I totally get the crappy hunting in WA as I hunt almost everything outta state these days. pretty much every elk tag these days are near $1,000. I have to agree, if you take advantage of the deer multi tag, you can hunt forever!! The elk is a bonus for sure, being able to put in for the east tags and hunting west when not drawn is worth the cost to me. I also agree this state is in a downward spiral.Would rather spend the money going out of state than spend the money for a multi.

What date did multi get drawn last year?
I think generally around the 10th of April over the years. Usually Thursday, think last year on a Wednesday. I would think this week if nothing *censored* up with the system.

I wasn't going for points only, but I thought it automatically submitted for for the permit just by buying the app. That's why I'm confused about it saying not submitted.

I wasn't going for points only, but I thought it automatically submitted for for the permit just by buying the app. That's why I'm confused about it saying not submitted.

If you did not submit for the draw, but bought the point....you automatically get the point. Next year, make sure you put in immediately after buying so you don't have the same problem. This will be the same process for all draws washington does. Buy the draw, put in for the draw or points. If you don't put in for the draw it will automatically give you the points option.

Just heard from shanequa that the commission took away multi season permits because it promotes the killing of animals!!!
I heard they were making most GMU's "Unicorn Only" -- meaning that it has to be a true spike 1X0. All other elk taken will be subject to a $15 fine. And the hide, with evidence of sex attached to the sole spike, must be presented to a wildlife official at their offices for inspection the day before the kill.

You may purchase at a license vendor, online at fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov, or by calling 360-902-2464. Click here for pricing. If you are applying as an individual, your application is automatically submitted. You only need to submit if you are applying as a group (maximum of two individuals).

That’s incorrect and the opposite is true. Must submit a point option to get a point. Nothing submitted you are automatically submitted into drawing

Since last year’s drawing, lots of state employees are gone because of the vaxx mandate. I wonder if WDFW was able to hire or if they’re on a freeze? Could be why it’s taking so long.
Considering they have the money to repair the yakima home base after the break in as well as remodel the bathrooms I don’t think money is the issue.

Totally get that, you'd think you could trust the technology but I believe they have to, for lack of better terms, "fact check" the apps to double check the computer system. Couple questions Trophyhunt.everyone is in the drawing whether you put in for points or a tag, #Rainier10 @Rainier10 might remember more than me but they have to check to make sure everyone that bought an app was actually put in the draw, then make sure their points went away. It is a button fast deal once certain actions are taken, I have to believe there was a complete melt down or hack at this point.
All purchases are linked to a computer system. So say you purchase your apps for multi season. Does it automatically go into the drawing? If you purchase a point for multi season and choose the point option only does it then automatically take you out of the drawing?

I am in IT so I watch these stories with interest as it shows the negligence at work when tax payer money is being spent. I have also worked with many of these large companies that market how they can solve all your problems, usually their own sites do not work right and are not properly integrated across their own company. I will just say this is what I expect most of the time with any government computer system. Now with that rant out of the way, I do not blame the mid level workers or blame them, they don't choose these programs or companies that is done at a higher level of corruption I mean management....

8 pts elk and nothing!! All this State does for me is suck money on limited opportunities which include poorly managed fisheries as well. Yes, I do hunt out of state.I too hunt out of state. We can't even put in for our special permits (Moose drawing, I now have 21 pts) and know if we've drawn while other states have already started their drawings. Chances are I would draw a New Mexico or Arizona elk tag for a once in a lifetime hunt and a Moose tag for the same time as well.

At the top of the page select Tags in the drop down. You will find it there.
The pic shows deer, but scroll down and you will find multi season tags.
