What the best rings and mounts putting a vortex 4x16x50 on my new Browing X bolt 7mm mag

Lots of good choices out there depending on what you want to do.
Hawkins precision hybrid are pretty cool for an all in one setup.
I really like the seekins precision rings and base I have on one of my rifles. I also have a dnz one piece that has held up really well for me for the last 10 years on a lightweight magnum.

"Best" is a dangerous word to use when discussing bases and rings. :chuckle: :chuckle:
Murphy precision titanium bases are as close to the best as I can think. I run one on my 338 lapua....30 MOA.
Nightforce, seekins, zeiss, are all top of the line. Leupold, warne, weaver all decent too. Just depends on how much you want to spend. If you want to shoot longer ranges, you may look at at a 20 MOA base....of course this depends on your scope and what your need is.

I’m not sure if that gun has a rail or not but the research I’ve done has led me to believe that’s the most important part. I’m putting seekins precision rings on a 20 moa rail.

Thanks guys for the info been crazy at work trying to get my retirement papers together to retire this October again for the info

Browning X-Lock integrated scope rings is what I have on my Browning X-Bolt Stalker Long Range 30-06. That's what I recommend. Second would be Tally X-bolt scope mount.

I’ve had good luck with leupold backcountry’s. They’ve held up to the recoil of a .300 win mag with no muzzle brake.

I just swapped out my not so precision Vortex rings for DNZ Repears (300WSM). The DNZ are one piece. That’s one less component to fail.
