Title: Wildlife technologies ecaller
Post by: tank21 on June 10, 2022, 12:42:56 PM
Hi everyone.  Do any of you have any experience with Wildlife technologies ecallers?  I want to get a new caller and feel like the sound reproduction is the most important thing.  I have emailed them and they are still around, but boy, there isn't a whole lot of info out there on them recently.  Definitely believe they had (have) the best source calls (professionally recorded with pro gear) but am unsure now where the other players in the game are.  I did read somewhere that Icotech used their technology in their calls, anybody know for sure if that's the case?

WT's sound reproduction is pretty amazing. I'm curious about the Icotech connection, I dunno...

As far as being connected to hunting and hunters, and developing sounds from field experience and hunting research, WT are the Anime-addict, Gamer-Nerds of the e-caller world!  :chuckle:  Foxpro and a few other guys wear the real camo.

My biggest issue with them is the lack of home-programmability. I produce sounds both publicly and privately, and I need usb plugs...

That being said, I've had 2 WT's and they sure sound good.

Are you a fox pro guy now?  If so are they the X series?

Does anyone have any real world experience with playing 2 sounds at once?  Is that a sweet deal?  Or is it more or less fodder?  I’ve been using a crazy critter decoy and the primos 3rd degree rabbit call and that works, sometimes a turkey mouth call too.  Just want to buy once, cry once.

I'm not brand loyal at all, but I have two FP's.

Most of the GeeGaws are for the user, not the prey! I prefer to use sounds in sequence, not simultaneously. The only exception is the cougar whistle (rain-shadow.com) over top of distress.
