Make sense??I sort of understand what you are saying, but if all 'tickets' get a random number there would be no difference in results (i.e., the frequency of high point holders drawing tags would not change).

I'm over the LL, the nachos are blah, wings have gotten absurdly expensive, and I can drink cheap beer anytime of the year. Not to mention, the staff is habitually cranky and vulgar, probably from being over worked. The billiards dont roll true almost like your getting cheated, and Garth Brooks "Friends in Low Places" is stuck on repeat. I've spent my fair share, I drew a quality deer tag in 2006 so there is that. I did draw multi deer this year so cant complain. People can say what they want about WA, but it is nice being able to chase deer, elk, bear, and cougar all fall every year.

Yeah it has been a while, but I do put in for top tier elk and deer wise so kind of expected. OIL are just luck.

Well, if we're having a "biggest loser" contest, I haven't drawn anything, ever, in 11 years of applying (including this year). That includes WA and out-of-state too. Some pretty high odds stuff, included... like an elk B tag in Montana last year that had 70% draw odds, and an ID controlled hunt muzzleloader deer tag two years ago that had 65% draw odds. I'd say my odds of having drawn *something* at this point is like 98-99% - I've either been extremely unlucky or on a "no hunt" list somewhere.
I feel your pain...18 year striking out on quality elk and 11 years striking out on bull elk

9 yr old daughter drew a youth any buck tag in Physt 603 for 1-16 Nov. she’s stoked. Hoping to do better than her little spike last yr. if anyone has land or access for a little girl that has to shoot in a super controlled environment (she can’t shoot of the shoulder, has to be in a tripod) pm me. I can arrange some sort of return favor I’m sure. She’d be happy with an average buck!

So yesterday I got my Wyoming deer results at 4:00 in the morning and see a big UNSUCCESSFUL, for a hunt that I was about 90% sure I would draw with 6 points. Turns out we needed at least 11 points. :bash:
Then Washington is posted, and knowing my odds weren't great for anything, but sure hoping 26 moose points might finally get me a tag, or 10 Quality deer points might get me a muzzleloader tag, but no luck there.
It's okay though, my 16 year old daughter saved the day by drawing a deer youth permit and an elk youth permit. Both just antlerless hunts but she couldn't care less about antlers, and I'm glad she was able to zero out her youth points in the last year she's eligible to apply for the youth permits.

Drew a Entiat Archery in 04. That was my last draw and only Quality Tag. I currently have 26 points in the 2 Bull elk categories and 17 Quality deer, 20 sheep points. Getting older every year along with everyone else. I'm pretty sure I'm going to die of old age before I actually draw a Quality tag again. Especially since they let the Indians shoot all the big bulls and bucks whenever they want which reduces the tags available.. :yeah:
